Of course, getting the right fit when it comes to footwear is really important. That’s why we’re happy to provide you with the official Haflinger size charts for men, women, and kids.
In addition to the size charts, we’ll be discussing how you can measure your feet at home or using the Brannock device.
But that’s not all – we’re not stopping there. We’re going to be addressing some of the most common questions and concerns surrounding Haflinger sizing.
Let’s dive right in…
Haflinger Size Chart
Let’s simplify the sizing process for you. Haflinger shoes use European sizes, but don’t worry, converting from US sizes is a breeze. Just take your womens US size and add 31 to it. So, for example, if you’re a US 7, your European size would be 38. Easy, right?
Now, here’s a little twist – since there are no half sizes in European sizing, what if you’re a US 7.5? Well, you can still find your perfect fit. Just stick with EU size 38, and you’ll be good to go.

Let me give the size charts in a different format:
How to measure your feet
Let’s break it down and make measuring your feet a breeze, whether you’re doing it at home or using the Brannock device. Here’s how:
Measuring Your Feet at Home:
- Grab a ruler, a piece of paper, and a pen.
- Sit down and place your foot flat on the piece of paper.
- Using the pen, carefully trace the outline of your foot. Make sure to keep the pen perpendicular to the paper for accurate measurements.
- Use the ruler to measure the length from the heel to the longest toe and the width at the widest part of your foot.
- Use these measurements to determine your shoe size by referring to the sizing charts or manufacturer guidelines.
Measure your feet using the Brannock Device:
- Place your foot flat on the device with your heel snug against the back.
- Ensure the device is positioned correctly, with the sliding piece resting gently against the ball of your foot.
- Take note of the measurement lines where your longest toe and widest part of your foot align.
- Use the measurements indicated on the device to determine your shoe size. The Brannock device typically provides both length and width measurements.
When it comes to finding the perfect fit for clogs, they should fit snug, but not too tight – that’s the golden rule. Your heel should comfortably sit against the back of the shoe and your toes should have ample room to wiggle and move freely at the front. In terms of the arch, a well-fitted clog should have built-in arch support that cradles your foot’s natural contours. Properly fitting clogs should fit great with no rubbing and no chafing. Lastly, if you’re planning on wearing yoru Haflingers with super thick socks, don’t forget to size up!
