The Adidas Yeezy Slide might just be one of Kanye West’s best ideas. It’s ridiculously comfortable, like, “never want to take them off” comfortable. No wonder they sell out in minutes every time they drop.
But here’s the thing. Yeezy Slide sizing is all over the place. You finally manage to snag a pair, and then you realize they either run smaller or bigger, or just plain weird compared to your usual size.
So, let’s run through the Adidas Yeezy Slides size chart for men, women, and kids first, and then I’ll walk you through how different colorways actually fit in real life.

Now, the Adidas Yeezy Slides size charts are nice, but sizing isn’t that simple. I’ve bought multiple colorways just to figure out what’s going on because trust me, there’s no single “one-size-fits-all” answer.
I’ve tried them all on again and again, comparing how they fit and feel.
And I can confirm something you might have already noticed: when someone on YouTube says, “I went true to size,” and then the comments are full of people saying they had to size up or down, they’re all probably telling the truth.
It’s just that Yeezy sizing seems to change depending on the colorway, the batch, the mold used, and maybe even the country where they’re made..
Let me show you what I mean.
Yeezy Slide Ocre Sizing
The Ocres feel snug at first. You kind of have to wiggle your foot in, but once you’re in, my toes are right at the front, and my heel sits right at the back. They’re not painfully tight, but they’re close.
So, with Ocres, if you’ve got narrow feet, you might be fine going true to size. For everyone else, going up one size might feel better.

Yeezy Slide Flax Sizing
Flax is on another level of tight. I struggled just to get my foot in, and once I did, it felt like my heel was hanging off the back. With Flax, I’d say don’t even think about it. Just size up.
Yeezy Slide Resin Sizing
The Resin colorway is maybe slightly better than Flax, but still feels pretty tight. Again, sizing up is the safer bet here.
Yeezy Slide Onyx Sizing
Onyx was a nice surprise. It feels roomier than both Flax and Resin. My toes reach the front without being squished, and my heel sits right on the Adidas logo without slipping off, which is something I could not do on the Flax or the Resin.
For Onyx, I’m happy sticking with my true size.
Yeezy Slide Pure Sizing
Here’s where it gets interesting. My Flax, Resin, and Onyx pairs are all size 8, but my Pure pair is a size 9. And yes, it’s more spacious, but in a cozy, “I could wear these all day” way.
Honestly, I like the extra room for slides. This is a perfect example of why sizing up can be a good move with Yeezy Slides.

Yeezy Slide Green Glow Sizing
The Yeezy Slides Green Glow feels a lot like Onyx. It’s roomy enough that I can get my toes all the way in without feeling jammed up. It’s definitely more comfortable than Flax or Resin.
Now for the weirdest one…
Yeezy Slide Bone Sizing
I’ve got two pairs of Bone, both made in India, both marked US size 8.
Pair one fits like a roomy size 9. I can stretch my toes to the end and still have heel space to spare. To my surprise, pair two feels tighter, more like the Onyx or Green Glow.
And yes, when I put them side by side, one is clearly bigger. That’s really strange!
I mean, I would expect two different colorways that are maybe made in different molds to fit and feel different, but two similar colorways that are made in India, maybe using the same molds, fit differently?
That’s the Yeezy mystery. And it’s exactly why you can’t always trust that your next pair will fit the same, even if it’s the same model and color.
How to Measure Your Feet for Yeezy Slides
Let’s be real. The absolute best way to figure out your Yeezy Slide size is to try them on before buying. If you’ve got a friend with a pair, ask to slip them on (bonus points if they’re the colorway you’ve been eyeing). Nothing beats actually feeling the fit for yourself.
But since Yeezys can be tricky to find in stores, your next best option is to get your feet measured by a pro. Most sneaker or shoe stores have a Brannock Device.
A trained associate can quickly measure both the length and width of your feet, plus check for differences between your left and right foot.
Measuring With a Brannock at Home
If you can’t make it to a store, you can actually buy a Brannock Device online and measure your feet yourself. Here’s how to get the most accurate reading:
- Wear the socks you’d normally wear with slides or go barefoot if that’s how you’ll wear them most.
- Stand up when measuring. Your feet spread out under your weight, so sitting down can give you a smaller reading than reality.
- Check both feet. Measure the longer one and use that size as your reference.
- Look at both the length and width measurements. Yeezy Slides are known for running narrow in some colorways, so knowing your width can help you decide whether to size up.
The Pen-and-Paper Method
Here’s the old-school way:
- Place a blank piece of paper on a hard floor, not carpet, because it can mess up the accuracy.
- Stand with your full weight on the foot you’re measuring. Don’t lean on the other leg.
- Trace around your foot. Keep the pen straight up (not angled) so you don’t accidentally draw outside the real shape.
- Measure from the heel to the longest toe. That might be your second toe, not your big toe.
- Write down the measurement in centimeters. Yeezy sizing often references cm, so this saves you an extra step.
- Measure the width at the widest part. Useful if you know you’ve got narrow or wide feet.
Extra Tips for Accurate Foot Measurements
- Measure in the evening
Your feet swell throughout the day, so evening measurements reflect the size they’ll be when you’ve been walking around.
- Measure both feet
Use the larger measurement when choosing your size.
- Don’t round down
If your foot length falls between two sizes, go with the bigger one (especially for Yeezy Slides).
- Repeat every few years
Yes, adult feet can change size over time due to weight changes, injuries, or just natural aging.
Also, fit also depends on colorway, so even with perfect measurements, you might need to tweak the size based on the pair you’re buying.
If you’ve measured your feet and still aren’t sure, see if you can try on a friend’s pair or order from a store with free returns. With Yeezy Slides, it’s better to test than to guess because the sizing can be just as unpredictable as the drop dates.
So there you have it. The Adidas Yeezy Slides size chart is helpful, but real-world fit depends on the colorway (and maybe a little luck). If you’ve got Yeezy Slides of your own, I’d love to know: do yours fit true, small, or big?
I’ll see you in the next one.
